Rooted

A 34-second farm-to-table spot. Sunrise over the ridge, dew still on the seedlings, hands in the soil — and the crate of California greens that ends up on somebody's table by dinner. No voiceover fireworks. Just the distance between the field and the fork, shown honestly.

The idea

Food starts
somewhere.

Every plate I write about begins in dirt, in weather, in somebody's early morning. Rooted follows that beginning: light coming up over the mountains, water beading on a young leaf, a farmer walking a row he has walked a thousand times.

Before a board is styled, someone was in a field at sunrise.

The build

Cut for
patience.

Pacing. Wide landscape holds, then tighter and tighter, until the shot is a single leaf. The spot earns its close-ups instead of cutting to them.

Sound. A final mix built on the room itself — wind, boots on soil, the crate set down — with music sitting under, never on top.

Ending. No logo splash. The last frame is the produce crate, stamped and stacked, already on its way.
